Italy, the land of beauty, fashion, history and culture has been regarded as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. For those who like to travel and visit romantic places, Italy is the best place to stop at, not only it is romantic but it has extremely interesting buildings, monuments and architectural achievements which are part of history, so those who love to scrutinize the meaning behind art will find this place to be a fantastic historical and artistic puzzle. When traveling to this fantastic country it is important to make sure you plan the tours you want to take and the places you want to visit since some tours and guides will show you around the most tourist places and other tours will take you on exclusive rides throughout a specific region. One thing is sure though, Italy is a big country which has much to offer to the tourist and it can’t all be seen in just one trip. Great musicians born in Italy have written and composed touching musical pieces and those who appreciate this form art dream about taking a gondola ride to the soothing and romantic lyrics of songs such as “O Sole Mio” or “Time to say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro) – Andrea Boccelli & Sarah Brightman”, as you may think this is definitively the perfect place to spend an unforgettable honey moon. Once you are in Italy a couple of cities you definitively must visit are Rome and of course the already mentioned Venice, this doesn’t mean that these two places hold all of Italy’s attractions, it only means that there are several interesting landmarks which you definitively have to see in person. In Rome you can find the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon among several other landmarks and tourists attractions; Venice on the other hand is much appreciated and admired for being the “floating city” because all of it is placed on water. This city is actually sinking so as a tourist it is better to visit this beautiful place while it is still a float!Whenever you decide to take some time of and get a way for a couple of weeks your plans should definitively include Italy because of the many attractions, culture, architecture and rich heritage which can’t be found anywhere else. Italy is best known for its fantastic people and it’s definitively a place which most tourists hope to be in at least once in their lifetime.

Italy is a country renowned for its style and love of fashion, nowhere is this truer than in the car industry. The designers of Italy have produced some of the most sumptuously styled cars ever made and with patrons such as Lamborghini and Ferrari this is not surprising. An ideal tour for any car nut is to use a hire car to tour the wealth of museums that Italy has to offer the motoring enthusiast. Turin is where the majority of the museums are situated, the Museo Dell’ Automobile (Car Museum) is one of the oldest and has an eclectic collection of cars not only from Italy but from all over Europe. With plenty of parking it makes an ideal excursion in a hire car when staying in Turin. Models contained in the collection include Bugattis, Austins, Citroens and Bentleys as well as Italian cars such as Alfa Romeos and Autobianchis. What would be a tour of car museums in Italy without seeing a Ferrari? Modena is a short and pleasant drive in your hire car and will take to you into the motherland of Ferrari. The Galleria Ferrari is the officially sanctioned museum and allows visitors to get close to cars they have dreamed of since childhood. Not just road cars are exhibited with Scuderia showing off their racing credentials to full effect, enthusiasts will be enthralled by the engines and other parts. The road cars on display offer a chance to see some of the most famous cars Italy has ever produced. Cars like the legendary 250 GT are in the collection and are the closest the average car enthusiast will get to them considering their extortionate price. Coming through to modern times the F50 and Enzo are also present, although seeing them action is not always possible. The only downside to visiting this museum is facing the realisation that you must climb back into your hire car to drive home. It is not just Ferrari that makes the car industry in Italy so stylish, when on your hire car holiday be sure to visit the Pininfarina Collection. This design house has designed some of the most gorgeous cars in history and its name is synonymous with grace and fine lines. The company has designed cars for a diverse selection of car manufacturers. Past clients have included Maseratti, Honda, Cadillac and of course Ferrari. In fact the majority of seminal Ferrari’s have been penned by Pininfarina, the collection and accompanying museum gives and idea how this company has shaped the styling of cars throughout the world. Your hire car tour however should not purely be limited to car museums however; the towns and villages of Italy are full of culture and history. The coastline is strikingly beautiful and gives bathers the chance to dip onto the warm waters of the Mediterranean. The fine cuisine of Italy is heralded as some of the finest in the world and includes more than just pasta and spaghetti. Varying much from region to region there is a full array of rice dishes, fine red meats and of course pizza. The penchant for fresh herbs and olives runs throughout the cuisine and complements the wines perfectly. Touring the vineyards would make up a brilliant hire car trip alone with fine reds and mellow whites it offers the wine enthusiast much. Again regions have their own specialities to suit the local cuisine. Chianti and Asti are two of the most famous varieties of wines in Italy but there is far more to the Italian wine making industry than these two classics. Touring Italy in a hire car is an ideal trip for those who want to sample the country. Of course car enthusiasts will be attracted by the long tradition of car manufacture and elegant styling, but Italy offers much more than this. As a romantic destination it is unparalleled while those who love the finer things in life will be spoilt for choice by the sumptuous cuisine and wine.

Travel expert Thomas Pretty strongly advocates using Budget’s car hire Italy services for any touring holiday. To find out more please visit http://www. budget. co. uk/car-hire/car-hire-italy. htm

What is interesting about Italy is that you will never find a single Italian flag, but they are still very particular about their culture and traditions – and of course soccer. Whether your vacationing to Florence, Rome, Naples, Milan, or Venice your stay will be well worth the flight. Italy boasts several 5 star resort hotels that accommodate to every need you could imagine. Italians are considered to be one of the best-looking people in the world. They are very proud of their past, their culture and for them it is all about family. Italians are very sociable. They are friendly and will talk to anyone, what’s most appealing about them is their sense of good humor and wit. In Italy you will hear the various kinds of dialects and accents of Italian, which sound so melodious to the ear. Italians have an ongoing love affair with food and fashion. The Italian food is famous worldwide and is a gastronomical to all the senses. Fashion is a very important part of the Italian culture, after all Milan is the fashion capital of the world, where haute couture is the word most heard. Northern Italy is more educated, hectic and fast paced, where as South of Italy is rural and laidback. People in Italy love spending money on their expensive attire, be it clothes, watches, shoes, jewelry or their fast cars. If you want to be understood in Italy, you will have to rely on your English-Italian dictionary or your gesturing skills, because English is not spoken or understood by many people there. People in Italy have a gastronomical affair with food. Eating is a passion and an integral part of the culture in Italy. So when you are in Italy, expect to add a few pounds to your frame. Italian food finds it roots back to different regions and is influenced by various factors. If you are looking for healthy and cheaper food, then you must venture into South Italy. The world famous and supremely popular Pizza was born in Campania along with tubular pizza and the various tomato based pizza and pasta sauces. Even if you are one of those few people who do not like pizzas, you should try one. The reason the Italian pizzas are popular is because of its simplicity and its fresh ingredients. Pizza margherita is the most popular pizza in Italy named after Queen Margherita. If you are looking for food with Greek influence with figs, honey, aubergine and aromatic spices, then Calabria is the place to go. Sicily will give you mouthwatering, finger-licking desserts like cannoli, sweet cheese, chocolate and cassata pastries. And Italian ice-cream Gelato is oh so popular. A typical Italian dinner would consist of an appetizer or an antipasto like bruschetta which is a type of herbed and spiced garlic bread; prosciutto which is cured ham and melon. The primo piatto, which is the first main course, is usually a soup or pasta; the second piatto will have meat, chicken or fish with contorno, which is vegetable. The meal is then ended with dessert, fruits and coffee.
