(ANSA) – Bari, February 6 – Police on Friday arrested a
man who posed as a priest and sexually abused boys as young
as ten near the southern city of Bari.
Angelo Maria Chiriatti, 53, the self-styled founder of
the Missionaries of Our Lady of the Quarry, is alleged to
have abused five boys between the ages of ten and 16 while
they stayed with him at a fake oratory last summer.
Chiriatti, who called himself Father Pietro, claims on
his website to have been ordained in Rome in 1990,
